I liked Pier 1, it was a nice addition to the Post Road (which has needed a facelift for some time). It’s not what I remember it to be ten years ago, maybe a change in marketing? The Pier 1 I remember was stylish and a freshbreath from the sterile Williams-Sonoma housewares selection. The design I saw seemed to have turned too little mainstream, which is much a shame... I’d been on the hunt for an LED short strand of Christmas lights. After a exhausting search online and at other stores, I finally found them here! A young lady spent a good amount of time with me designing my little addition to my Christmas decoration. I’m all set now and very happy! .... but in typical big corp fashion, even though they bombard you with signs saying Christmas decorations are on sale! I still walked out $50 lighter! Overall, it could’ve been a better trip.
