Dr.Sanjay Patel is an amazing doctor that has helped me immensely. When I finally went to see Dr. Patel I had been suffering with pain in both Achilles tendon for about a year and a half. The pain was excruciating and I probably spent close to $1000 trying different shoes and inserts none of which helped. I have been a waitress for close to 40 years and the last 20 on hard tile floors and I am also overweight. Near the end I was barely making it through my shifts,not socializing and gaining more weight from not excericising. When he saw me he said both achilles tendons were badly damaged but tbat he thought he could help me. I then receiced a stem cell shot in each tendon and also received extracorporeal shock wave treatment to help my tendons repair themselves. This is not a quick fix it takes time but was so worth it in the end. In my case I also continued to work during the healing process so it took a little longer. The pain slowly subsided over the next six months and now a year later I am happy to say that I am pain ftee...working longer shifts and walking 2 to 3 miles a day after work for exercise.
